abstract |
It is a method for producing carbon-carbon composites; producing a mat that utilizes carbon fiber, carbon fabric, carbon sheet or staple fiber; laminating at least three layers of mats; producing a pre-material from the laminated mats by the staple punching method; performing a first heat treatment at the predetermined temperature on the produced pre-material; densifying the first heat-treated preform; performing a second heat treatment on the densified pre-material; giving the pre-material subjected to the second heat treatment in a predetermined form; and the steps of performing an oxidation resistance process on the formed preform. A brake disc produced by the above method has a low friction coefficient with high compression and tear strength due to its low friction coefficient and its use in civilian air vehicles that require high loads. |
