titleOfInvention Aspirin applied through the skin
abstract It is an aspirin formulation suitable for administration via the skin. Crumbled aspirin is dissolved in very high concentrations in a solution consisting of a pharmacologically acceptable solvent and organic amine. The primary solvent is preferably an organic hydroxy component with properties suitable for application to the skin. The resulting aspirin is non-irritating to the skin and exhibits long-term and good stability in the skin-to-skin application device. A suitable device for applying aspirin solution through the skin has also been described.
