titleOfInvention The process of screening / evacuation of thiols.
abstract Thiols are captured and converted into disulfide compounds by a process that involves a 1.2.4-thiadiazole structure which contains a substituent at the 3-position of the thiadiazole ring and is non-substituted at the N-2 position. The process can be used pharmacologically in the inhibition of certain thiol-containing enzymes such as H + / K + -ATPase (proton pump) and selectively removing thiol compounds from gas or liquid mixtures in the industrial field.
