titleOfInvention Method of treating articles made of stainless chromium steels
abstract Use: to improve the erosion and cavitation resistance of durable bodies of centrifugal impellers. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION: Centrifugal wheels of stainless chromium steels are assembled into a bag, heated to a setting temperature, subjected to carburization, quenched, and released. When cementation is carried out in a solid carburizer, it is placed in the channels of the centrifugal wheel, and assembly into the bag is carried out with spacers that repeat the profile of the surfaces of the main and top disks of the impeller that mate with them, and then tighten the bag with a clamping element with a tab between wheels and spacers sealer. Cementation in a liquid or gaseous carburetor is carried out while rotating the wheel package. 2 hp ff, 4 ill., 3 tab.
