abstract The invention relates to heterocyclic compounds, in particular, to the preparation of a furazan derivative, 3,4-dihydroxyfurazan, a semi-product for the synthesis of analytical chemistry reagents. The goal is to create a new method of obtaining a new intermediate. The synthesis is carried out by the reaction of a tetryacetyl derivative of oxalyl dihydroxamic acid with sodium acetate crystal hydrate in glacial acetic acid with heating. Yield 9–11%, m.p. 189-190 ° C, brutgo-formula CaH2 Oz 2 sp f-ly.
