titleOfInvention Stuffing box
abstract The invention relates to the gland seals of piston compressor rods and makes it possible to increase the reliability of the seal. In the gland seal containing split sealing rings 2 and 3 installed in housing 1, having groove 4 and covered by bracelet springs 10, an anti-extrusion ring is installed, having a collar located in groove 4 with a girth of sealing ring. The counter-extrusion ring is made of two centrally arranged rings 5 and 6. The outer ring 6, pressed by the tension spring in the axial direction to the sealing ring, has on the inner surface a cylindrical section 8, in contact with the inner ring, and a conical section 9, in contact with the mating surface of the groove. This design of the gland seal allows you to monitor the production of the main seal rings and prevent them from being squeezed into the gap between the gland body and the stem. 1 il. со с vl СЛ СП о СЛ
