titleOfInvention Radon beta-applicator
abstract Usage: the invention relates to medical radiology and physical therapy and allows the superficial beta irradiation of the skin of patients through a copper-foil end of a cylindrical disk chamber with short-lived radionuclides. The device ensures the elimination of the loss of radon and its daughter products into the environment during the treatment process, increases the radiation safety of patients and personnel, eliminates alpha-irradiation of patients when using radon therapy. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION: The use of a metallic cylindrical volume with short-lived radionuclides having an end of 30-40 µm thick copper foil to release beta radiation onto the patient's skin, and two filling nozzles are provided to fill the beta applicator, such as an air-radon mixture. 1 il.
