titleOfInvention Method for simulation of the status of epileptic absence
abstract The invention relates to the field of biology, namely to neurophysiology. The method allows to increase the reproducibility of the model. To this end, pirotoxin at a dose of 1.0-1.3 mg / kg was intraperitoneally administered once daily to rats for 17–25 days, then carbachol in an amount of 5–10 µg was administered bilaterally into the caudate nuclei followed by (3–10 µg). 5 min) intraperitoneal administration of picrotoxin at a dose of 1.0-1.3 mg / kg, which leads to the development of rats of complete locomotor immobility in rats against the background of normal motor activity, each with a duration of 7-9 s. The reproducibility under the conditions of the proposed method is 100%.
