titleOfInvention | Method for simulation of the status of epileptic absence |
abstract | The invention relates to the field of biology, namely to neurophysiology. The method allows to increase the reproducibility of the model. To this end, pirotoxin at a dose of 1.0-1.3 mg / kg was intraperitoneally administered once daily to rats for 17–25 days, then carbachol in an amount of 5–10 µg was administered bilaterally into the caudate nuclei followed by (3–10 µg). 5 min) intraperitoneal administration of picrotoxin at a dose of 1.0-1.3 mg / kg, which leads to the development of rats of complete locomotor immobility in rats against the background of normal motor activity, each with a duration of 7-9 s. The reproducibility under the conditions of the proposed method is 100%. |
