titleOfInvention Method of oscillopolarografic determination of arsenic and antimony in presence of tin
abstract This invention relates to analytical chemistry, namely the determination of As and Sb from a single sample in the presence of tin. The essence of the process is that As (V) and Sb (V) are first reduced to As (lll) and Sb (lll) at room temperature with hydroquinone and hydrobromic acid. Then, the bromide complexes of arsenic and antimony are extracted with benzene from a 9 M solution of H2 SO4 and oscillopolarograms are recorded. The method allows to determine As in the presence of a 400-fold excess of tin and antimony in the presence of a 15-fold excess of tin. 2 tab.
