abstract |
The invention relates to the production of acetates, in particular the production of ethyl or butyl acetates used in various chemical industries. The goal is to increase the yield and productivity of the process. It is lead by esterification of acetic acid with ethanol or butanol when heated in the presence of a catalyst — a dealuminated natural clinoptilolite with a silicate module 20.78-29.08 and a degree of exchange for ammonium ions of 28.6–36.8% and strontium ions 59.4– 70.5%. These conditions increase the yield and productivity of ethyl acetate from 82.7 to 96.6% and from 27.4 mol / kg (cat). H to 59.87 mol / kg (cat).
