This invention relates to medicine. The purpose of the invention is to reduce complications and overcome resistance to psychopharmacotherapy. The method consists in carrying out the adaptation of the patient to horizontal hypogabolic hypoxia. Adaptation begins with a stepwise rise to a height of 1000 to 3500 m for 6 days with a daily increase in height by 500 m, a session duration of 3 hours, a course duration of 22 sessions. The invention can be used in the treatment of schizophrenia in cases of resistance of patients to psychopharmacotherapy. |
