titleOfInvention Method for analysis of disperse systems by dimensions
abstract The invention relates to the study of the parameters of disperse systems, in particular, to methods of obtaining the distribution of particles of these systems by size. The purpose of the invention is to improve the accuracy of the method and the expansion of the field of application. This goal is achieved by registering the attenuation of light due to scattering and dispersion of particles that freely free from gravity in such a range of wavelengths where the system under study does not absorb light, in particular for dispersion of clay minerals in the 400-600 nm . The number of particles in the fraction with an average effective radius of Geff atio D is numbered by the formula N i-. I l: gef K (p) where D is the optical density of dispersion at the wavelength Aso the corresponding middle of the measured spectrum; I is the optical path length; p is the combined parameter, a (t-1); au t is the relative size and the refractive index of the particle 2 ltef- - / r0 / A; / 4 - the refractive index of the medium; K (p) is the scattering coefficient determined by the tables. This method can be used to analyze disperse systems by size, including particles with a diameter corresponding to the limiting sensitivity of the spectroturbidimetry method. 1 hp ff, 2 tablets, 2 ill.
