titleOfInvention | Method of producing rapidly solidified metals and alloys |
abstract | This invention relates to metallurgy, in particular to the production of materials by the method of high-speed solidification of the melt. The purpose of the invention is the expansion of technological capabilities due to the preparation of blanks from materials with a high affinity for oxygen. The proposed method allows the oxidation of the surface of rapidly quenched particles in materials containing elements with a high affinity for oxygen to be oxidized. The content of: oxygen decreases due to coating the material in the process of obtaining a flux or slag film, which have a range of activity up to a temperature when oxidation is minimal. The task set is solved due to the fact that by feeding the melt to the rotating mold on its surface, create a layer of flux or slag in the liquid state, the volume of which is 0.05-0.2 of the volume of the melt, and the melt together with the flux or slag is fed to the rotating one at a speed of 0.5-20 m / with a drum. 1 Il., 1 tab.
