The invention relates to a technology for the purification of chlorine gas emissions used at facilities where chlorine gas is used, and which allows to increase the reliability of the cleaning process in case of accidents by accelerating the neutralization of chlorine. The air of working premises with a chlorine content above the MPC is irrigated with a neutralizing aqueous solution of 5,5-dimethylhydantoin (DMH) with a concentration of 108-114 g / l. Into the neutralizing solution, one can additionally introduce 26-192 g / l Na2CO3, or 15-84 g / l MaNSO3, or 15-36 g / l MaZUz. When the chlorine content in the air of the room is 0.1 mg / l, irrigation with a neutralizing solution leads to the MPC on chlorine in 12-16 minutes. The maximum possible rate of transmission of pure chlorine current to its breakthrough through 100 ml of solution is 90 dm3 / h at 108 g / l DM G and 110 dm3 / h at 114 g / l DMG. 1 hp ff, 1 ill., 1 tab. |
