titleOfInvention Method for diagnosis of the degree of severity of chronic catarrhal nicotinic stomatitis
abstract The invention relates to medicine and concerns methods for assessing the severity of chronic catarrhal nicotine stomatitis. The aim of the invention is to improve the accuracy of diagnosis. To achieve this goal, a clinical and laboratory examination of the patient is carried out and the activity of trypsin inhibitors in saliva is additionally determined and when it is reduced by 20-40% compared with the norm, mild chronic catarrhal nicotine stomatitis is diagnosed; degrees of severity and with a decrease of 85% or more - a heavy degree. The proposed method allows with a high degree of accuracy to diagnose the severity of the inflammatory process of the mucous membrane of the mouth in smokers and to carry out vapor-genetically sound therapy and prevention of the disease.
