abstract The invention relates to the purification of crystalline substances from resins and fats and can be used in the chemical industry. The purpose of the invention is to increase the cleaning efficiency. The device contains a vertical tubular heat exchanger, a nozzle for feeding the initial mixture on the bottom plate and nozzles for withdrawal of resins and fats and a purified solution on the upper bottom of the heat exchanger. The upper bottom and the pipe for removal of resins and fats are made heated. A hollow truncated cone is installed on the upper tube sheet, the upper base of which has a diameter equal to 0.68-0.70 of the inner diameter of the housing and forms a gap with the body equal to 0.18-0.2 of the internal diameter of the housing. The nozzle for removal of resins and fats is installed vertically, aligned with the cone, the nozzle for withdrawal of the cleaned solution has an inlet at the base of the truncated cone and the outlet is at the level of the inlet of the nozzle for removal of resins and fats. The angle at the top of a cone-shaped upper bottom is 78-79 °. The device allows obtaining the degree of purification of the solution of sorbic acid from resins and fats 83.0-83.4%. 1 il. (/ WITH
