| abstract |
This invention relates to vertical vertical furnaces for the chemical and heat treatment of steel strip. The goal is to increase productivity by reducing the processing time in the exposure chamber by organizing directed circulation. The vertical stretch furnace consists of a heating chamber, a sectional exposure chamber and a cooling chamber. The third section of the holding chamber is equipped with an additional manifold with nozzles, providing intensive mixing of the decarburizing atmosphere between the tape branches.
