abstract The invention relates to veterinary medicine, in particular, to methods for the prevention of gastrointestinal diseases in young farm animals, and can be used to prevent dispersion and colibacteriosis of newborn bodies. The aim of the invention is to increase the efficiency of the method. The animals are injected intraperitoneally with the drug Glucohemovitis, containing, in wt.%: Polyvinyl pyrrolidone 5.9-6.1; low molecular weight sodium chloride 0.54-0.56; low molecular weight potassium chloride 0.040-0.044; low molecular weight calcium chloride 0.048-0.052; low molecular weight magnesium chloride 0.0004-0,0006; sodium bicarbonate 0.022-0.024; glucose 4,5-5,5; ascorbic acid 0.4-0.6; distilled water, the rest, in a dose of 0.3-5.0 mg / kg of animal weight 1-2 times a day for 2-3 days. Efficiency of 93.4-100%.
