abstract |
The invention relates to amides, in particular the preparation of 2,6-difluorobenzamide, which can be used as a synthon for a high-octane insecticide of hormonal action — an inhibitor of chitin biosynthesis. The goal is to simplify the process and increase the yield of the target product. The preparation is carried out by metallization of difluorobenzene with sodium at (-40) - (-50) ° C in liquid ammonia in the presence of a catalyst - ferric chloride. The process is carried out with the subsequent reaction of the obtained sodium derivative with ethyl chlorotic acid ester at (-40) - (-50) ° C in diethyl ether. Yield up to 92%. The process time is reduced 6 times. |
