abstract Indole compounds the general formula (I> <IMAGE> Wherein R1 to R4 are independently hydrogen or halogen atoms, C1-C4-alkyl, halomethyl with 1 to 3 halogen atoms, C1-C4- alkoxy, hydroxyl, amino, C1-C4-alkylamino, C1-C4-dialkylamino, C1-C3-alkysulphonamide, arylsulphonamido, C1-C3-acylamido C1-C3-acyl, C1-C3-acyloxy, cyano, carboxyl, carb-C1-C4-alkoxy, methlenedioxy or ethylenedioxy groups; R5 and R6 together are an oxo group, or one of R5 or R6 is a hydrogen atom and the other is a hydroxyl or C1-C4-alkoxy group; R7 and R6 are independently hydrogen, C1-C4-alkyl, benzyl or C1-C3-acyl and the broken line between the carbon atoms in positions 4, 4a, 5 and 12a can signify a single or double bond; or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof are useful in the treatment of heart-circulation diseases. Intermediates of general formula (V> <IMAGE> have similar pharmacological action.
