titleOfInvention Method of producing 4-benzoylnaphalic anhydride
abstract This invention relates to aromatic dicapboxylic acids, in particular to the preparation of 4-benzoyl naphthalic anhydride. The goal is to increase the yield of the target product and improve its quality. The preparation is carried out by the oxidation of 5-benzoylcene-naphthene with potassium permanganate mixed with hypochlorite or 42-50% potassium manganate paste mixed with potassium hypochlorite in the presence of 1-2 mol.% Of copper sulfate from potassium manganate. The process is carried out at a molar ratio of 5-benzoyl-acenaphthene: manganese-containing compound: potassium hypochlorite 1: (0.88-2):
