abstract The invention relates to the field of medicine, in particular to dentistry, and can be used to diagnose the pathological process in periodontal tissues. The aim of the invention is to improve the accuracy. To carry out the method, the oral fluid is dried, mixed with potassium bromide, and the absorption spectra of the obtained samples are recorded in the region of 400–4000 cm. the preclinical stage of the disease, and at a decrease to 62% and below - the pathological process in periodontal tissues. The accuracy of the method is 88.6%. The method allows diagnostics of the pathological process in periodontal tissues in the early stages. I (L
