The invention relates to medicine and veterinary medicine and can be used in studies on experimental therapy of echinococcosis. The goal is to accelerate and increase the reproducibility of the method. To do this, a drop of glycerin is applied to a drop of the test material, coated with a cover glass and microscopically scanned at a low magnification. In living proto-scolexes, under the influence of glycerol, body contracture is observed. At the same time, the proto-skolexes are reduced in size by 1.5-2 times as compared with the control, they lose their rounded shape, the calcareous bodies become invisible. These changes occur within 1 to 2 seconds and are observed within 30 to 40 minutes after the addition of glycerol. The method is simple, quickly perform, well reproducible. k |
