abstract This invention relates to virology. The aim of the invention is to increase the optical and immunogenic activity of diagnostic preparations for the laboratory diagnosis of fever of the Syr Darya valley in humans. The original strain of the Syrdarya valley fever virus No. Kaz- 4909 km (STB No. 810) is isolated from Anopheles macullpennls mosquitoes. The strain passed 6 passages, the incubation period was 3-4 days in newborn white mice. Infectious titer reaches 8.1 Ig LDso / 0.02 ml. The interaction of the strain with cell cultures SPEV, BHK-21, Vero does not cause cytopathological action, but the virus titer in the culture fluid reaches 4.0-5.0 Ig LDso / 0.02 ml, the Strain does not possess hemagglutinin ability. The strain is not sensitive to sodium deoxycholate and chloroform. Strain No. Kaz-4909 km showed antigenic kinship with the Syrdarya valley fever virus LEIV-Kaz-3 Bol strain, but it is characterized by high antigenic and immunogenic activity.
