titleOfInvention Method for producing astrakhan curl in adult semifine- fleece sheep
abstract The invention relates to sheep breeding, in particular to methods for producing Karakul. The purpose of the invention is to increase the efficiency of the method. The method consists in the introduction of half-toned sheep older than four months orally with cyclophosphamide in a dose of 20-30 mg per 1 kg of live weight, while on the 8th-15th day after the injection, a dehydration occurs, and after another 15-15 days karakul curls form. The use of this method allows to obtain Karakul pelts, which are 5–8 times larger than pelt pelts. Curls have good performance properties, and do not form under the influence of moisture.
