The method of obtaining food from keratin-containing raw material is that bird droppings are used as a hydrolyzing agent and they are taken in an amount of 10-50% of the total mass, and the heat treatment is carried out for 40-60 minutes. As a result of using the proposed method, the technological cycle is reduced four times, reducing the cost of manufacturing tons of the finished product by saving water, chemicals and energy.
