abstract The invention relates to agriculture, in particular to fodder production. The aim of the invention is to reduce the production cycle, saving water, chemical materials and energy. The method of obtaining food from keratin-containing raw material is that bird droppings are used as a hydrolyzing agent and they are taken in an amount of 10-50% of the total mass, and the heat treatment is carried out for 40-60 minutes. As a result of using the proposed method, the technological cycle is reduced four times, reducing the cost of manufacturing tons of the finished product by saving water, chemicals and energy.
