The invention relates to agriculture, and more particularly to a method for controlling undesirable vegetation by using N-phenyltetrahydrophthalimide derivatives for treating plants or the soil on which they grow. The purpose of the invention is to increase the efficiency of the method by using a more effective herbicide. The method consists in treating the plants or the soil on which they grow with derivatives of N-phenyltetrahydrophthalimides - compounds of the general formula @, where X is chlorine or brominen n n R - C 1 -C 8 -alkyl, C 3 -C 4 -alkenyl, C 3 -C 4 -alkynyl, in the amount of 0.08-10 g of the active substance / ar. 1 tab. |
