titleOfInvention Method of cleaning waste water from organic matter
abstract The invention relates to water treatment, in particular to the purification of water by a photochemical method. The aim of the invention is to increase the degree of water purification from dissolved organic matter. When carrying out the method of purifying water from organic substances by photochemical oxidation, water is simultaneously passed through a membrane consisting of a film of titanium-containing wastewater sludge from paper production with a thickness of 50-70 microns with a residence time of water in the irradiation zone of 8-18 seconds, the irradiation is carried out with ultraviolet light in the wavelength range of 150-250 nm, and the film deposited on a quartz ceramic substrate. Papermaking sludge contains titanium compounds in the form of a polycomplex with low molecular weight cellulose. The structure of a polycomplex determines its photocatalytic activity and contributes to the acceleration of the process and the reduction of radiation attenuation in a dispersive medium. The method allows a 20–22% increase in the degree of purification of water from organic matter in comparison with the known method. 1 tab.
