titleOfInvention | Method of application of reflecting coating on mica scale |
abstract | The invention relates to the technology of manufacturing pearlescent pigments based on mica, used in the paint, cosmetic, printing areas, in building materials, in plastics. The goal is to simplify the process of applying a reflective coating on mica flakes. Mica is pre-expanded to a volume weight of 20–150 kg / m 3 , followed by the precipitation of titanium dioxide layers from a solution of titanium salts of 0.5–12% concentration, drying the impregnated mica and baking it. At the same time, in order to increase the reflection coefficient of mica, the deposition of MIO 2 layers is carried out additionally on the mica obtained after firing. The reflection coefficient of mica is 70%, the method is simplified due to the absence of the need for preliminary grinding of mica, fractionation (classification), treatment with tin salts with washing and drying (which is provided for in the prototype). 2 hp f-ly, 2 tab. |
