titleOfInvention Method of obtaining 2-mercaptobenzimidazolons
abstract The invention relates to heterocyclic compounds, in particular, a process for the preparation of 2-mercaptobenzimidazoles of the general formula CH = CH - CX - CH - C = C - NH - C (SH) = N, where X = H or CH 3 used as pesticides, stabilizers polymers, additives to photoemulsion layers, and solutions for chemical dissolution of metals. The purpose of the invention is to intensify and simplify the process. The latter is carried out by boiling the corresponding 0-phenylenediamines with a thiuram derivative with a molar ratio of 1.0-1.1: 2.0, in the medium of propanol-1 or butanol-1. The method makes it possible to shorten the reaction time by more than 2 times while maintaining a high yield of the target product and to reduce the cost of the process due to the use of an easily accessible and cheap thiuram derivative. 3 tab.
