The invention relates to ophthalmic surgery, in particular, to methods for performing abdominal operations on the anterior segment of the eye. The purpose of the invention is to reduce hemorrhagic complications. Before a wide opening of the fibrous capsule and decompression of the eye, the cornea is micro-perforated and a solution of mezaton is introduced into the posterior chamber using a blunt cannula. If it is necessary to remove the lens in the capsule 10 minutes or more after intracameral administration of the mesatone, before extraction of the lens, the posterior chamber of the eye is re-irrigated with a solution of mesatone. |
