titleOfInvention Method of assessing functional state of stomach of children ill with gastroenteric diseases
abstract The invention relates to gastroenterology and can be used to assess the functional state of the stomach in children. The goal is to simplify the process by reducing the number of labor-intensive operations. Patients are given gastric sensing, samples of gastric juice are obtained in the basal state and during stimulation of acid formation. Gastric juice samples are filtered, acidity is determined by titration with alkali in the presence of an indicator, and additionally superoxide elimination activity (SUA) is determined in each sample. Then calculate the ratio of acidity to the SUA. When this ratio is exceeded over the control values in the basal and stimulated samples, the functional state of the stomach is assessed as decompensated. When the ratio in one of the samples exceeds the control values, the state is assessed as subcompensated. With equal ratios of basal and stimulated samples in patients and healthy children, the condition is assessed as compensated. 3 tab.
