titleOfInvention Method for producing alkyl benzene sulphonic acid
abstract The invention relates to sulphonic acids, in particular the preparation of alkyl benzene sulphonic acids used as surfactants. The goal is to simplify the process. The latter is carried out by alkylbenzene sulfonation in a two-film apparatus at 30–55 ° C using 26–65% oleum, which is served as a film on a heated surface with a temperature 5–10 ° C below the boiling point of oleum, followed by separate output of depleted oleum and target product. These conditions provide a single-stage sulfonation depth of up to 95% without the need for energy-intensive preparation of the sulphating agent and no emissions using non-corrosive reagents and reaction products and achieving better working conditions and performance. 1 il.
