titleOfInvention | Method for determining the degree of activity of the tuberculous process in the kidneys |
abstract | The invention relates to medicine, namely to phthysiology, and can be used in the urological clinic to determine the degree of activity of the tuberculous process in the kidneys, as well as to assess the effectiveness of the treatment. The aim of the invention is to simplify and increase the accuracy of the method. For this, blood is taken from a patient with tuberculosis of the kidney, serum is separated and 0.3 ml of a 10% aqueous solution of trichloroacetic acid is added to 0.5 ml of blood serum and centrifuged for 20 minutes at 3000 rpm. 1 ml of glacial acetic acid and 0.1 ml of Chinard reagent are added to 0.5 ml of the supernatant. Incubate for 1 h at 100 ° C, then colorimeter on the FEC. The content of diamino acids in serum is determined from a calibration curve constructed for standard ornithine. With a content of diamino acids of 1.8 - 2.3 mg / 100 ml, an acute form of tuberculosis is established, and with a content of 3.4 - 4.2 ml / 1000 ml, chronic renal tuberculosis is established. The invention allows, in almost 100% of cases, to reliably establish the degree of activity of tuberculous inflammation in the kidneys and to select an adequate treatment strategy. The method is simpler and faster than the known ones. |
