titleOfInvention Method of treating cataract
abstract This invention relates to ophthalmology and may be used in the surgical treatment of cataracts. The purpose of the invention is the prevention of postoperative astigmatism. In order to do this, in a method that involves making a corneoscleral incision and suturing it after removing the lens, the incision is made with a triangular bend in the middle of the arc. Stitching of the corneoscleral incision begins by suturing through the apex of the triangular protrusion of one lip of the incision and, accordingly, through the apex of the notch on the opposite lip of the incision.
