titleOfInvention Method of photometric determination of copper
abstract The invention relates to analytical chemistry, specifically to methods for the photometric determination of trace amounts of copper, and can be used to analyze alloys and concentrates of non-ferrous metals. The aim of the invention is to simplify the process and increase the selectivity of the determination of copper. For this, it was proposed to conduct the interaction of an acidic solution of a copper (II) salt with 4- (2-pyridylazo) resorcinol in the presence of 80 vol.% Acetic acid and determine the optical density at a pH of 0.2-0.7. This method allows successful determination of 10-50 µg of copper in the presence of MN, AL, MG, PB, ZN, CD, AG, ZR, JH, CR (III), V (IV), MO (VI), BI, JN , TI, SN, GA, FE (III), SC, CO. Sensitivity of determination ε 17000. 2 tab.
