titleOfInvention | Nutrient medium for differentiation of bacteria of intestinal group |
abstract | This invention relates to medical microbiology, in particular to the production of bacteriological nutrient media. The purpose of the invention is to accelerate and improve the accuracy of differentiation of Salmonella from other bacteria of the intestinal group. To prepare the medium, grind and mix (wt.%) Dry nutrient agar 4.5-5n n n hyposulfite 0.8-1n n n 0.3-0.4 dulciten n n urea 0,25-0,3n n n iron ammonium green 0.1-0.12n n n sulfonol 0.1-0.18 and dissolved in 100 ml of distilled water. Crops are incubated for 18–20 hours. Salmonella grows in the form of black colonies with a transparent halo around the edges, the remaining bacteria of the intestinal group form colonies of different colors (from white to brown). The percentage of detected Salmonella grown in association with other bacteria of the intestinal group is higher than when using bismuth sulphite agar. |
