abstract | This invention relates to the chemistry of organophosphorus compounds, in particular to the preparation of (2,2-dichlorovinyl) dichlorophosphate used in the synthesis of pesticidal preparations. The goal is to increase the yield of the target product. The preparation is carried out by the reaction of phosphorus oxychloride with chloral in the presence of a zinc-copper pair in a medium of sulfuric ether while boiling the reaction mixture. The yield of the target product to 56% versus 35% in a known process. |
