titleOfInvention | Composition of electrode coating for hand welding |
abstract | The invention relates to manual welding with coated electrodes, in particular, to the creation of welding materials for underwater welding, ensuring the performance of welded joints from low-carbon and low-alloy steels of increased strength. The purpose of the invention is to improve the quality of welded joints made by welding under water, mainly from high-strength steels, by increasing the slag-forming ability of the coating. The composition of the coating containing, in wt.%: Marble 10 - 14n n n fluorspar 18 - 22n n n feldspar 2 - 4n n n ferromanganese 7-10n n n ferrotitanium 3 - 6n n n ferrosilicon 3 - 6 and titanium dioxide, additionally introduced feldspar 2 - 4n n n potash (0.5 - 1.5) and titanothermic mixture. The latter is a mixture of titanium powder (4.7 - 7.7) and iron oxide (10.3 - 17.3). The coating gives a large amount of slag, which makes it possible to improve the protection of the welded joint against accelerated cooling, to facilitate the degassing of the weld and the heat affected zone from diffusive hydrogen. 2 tab. |
