titleOfInvention | Liquid self-hardening sand for making cores and moulds |
abstract | The invention relates to foundry and can be used to make casting molds and cores from self-hardening liquid mixtures in the manufacture of castings from iron, steel and non-ferrous alloys. The purpose of the invention is to increase the strength and fluidity of the mixture, improving its knockability and sanitary-hygienic working conditions. This goal is achieved by using ferrovanadium production in the composition of the slag mixture. The mixture contains, wt%: ferrovanadium slag production 3.8 ... 4.5n n n liquid glass 6.0 ... 7.0n n n frother @ 0.1 ... 0.15n n n refractory filler based on silica the rest. In this case, liquid glass is used with a density of 1.32-1.36 g / cm 3 , and an anion is used as a frother. The use of ferrovanadium slag accelerates the process of slag solidification, increases the strength and fluidity of the mixture, improves its knockout and sanitary-hygienic working conditions due to the absence of hexavalent chromium. 2 hp f-ly, 2 tab. |
