titleOfInvention Vehicle speed control system
abstract This invention relates to automotive engineering, in particular, to systems for automatically controlling the speed of a vehicle. The aim of the invention is to increase efficiency by increasing the durability of the brake system. The control system comprises a pedal 1, the middle part of which is hinged on the floor of the driver’s cabin. One end of the pedal is kinematically connected with the sensor of the system and the other with sensor 2, which signals the start of the braking process, and sensor 3 of the braking control system. The sensors 2 and 3 are connected via a docking device 4 to the electronic control unit 5 via a communication line. The electronic control unit 5 is also connected via a docking device 4 to sensors 6-10, respectively, recording the actual vehicle deceleration, pressure in control space A of modulator 11, crankshaft rotation speed of the internal combustion engine, clutch on-off and neutral position in the box transmissions, and through a block of 12 amplifiers — with solenoids of electropneumatic valves 13–18 controlling, respectively, the engine brake, clutch, fuel supply rail of the high-pressure pump supplying air from the receiver 19 to the electropneumatic actuator of the service braking system, holding and releasing compressed air in the control cavity A of the modulator 11. Cavity B of the modulator by means of mages
