titleOfInvention Device for growing plants
abstract The invention relates to agriculture and biology, namely, devices for growing plants in a small volume of substrate, and can be used in industrial vegetable growing and floriculture of protected ground. The aim of the invention is to increase the reliability of the device and improve the living conditions of the root systems. The substrate in the vegetative tank is placed on a film-like porous material in contact with two-layer moisture-conducting elements made of moisture-conducting material and film elastic material forming flat (slotted) capillaries, the lower part of which is lowered into the central and lateral longitudinal channels with an adjustable level of nutrient solution or water. . For surface wetting of the substrate, a linear liquid sprayer is mounted above it. In a film-like porous material serving as a substrate for the substrate, drainage holes are located along its side portions. The device is reliable in operation, since the normal development of plants in the event of a pump shutdown lasts for 2 to 3 days. The yield of cucumbers and tomatoes grown in the proposed device is increased by 25 - 30%. 1 ill., 1 tab.
