titleOfInvention METHOD OF OBTAINING MONO-KALIUM SALT α-CATOHLATARIC ACID
abstract The invention relates to biotechnology and relates to a method of obtaining monopotassium salt of a-ketoglutaric acid (CGC). The purpose of the invention is to increase the yield and quality of the target product. Yeast Candida lipolytica is cultivated on a nutrient medium containing paraffin and mineral salts in optimal conditions. pH is adjusted by adding KOH. The biomass is separated, the solution is clarified with activated carbon, acidified with mineral acid to a pH of 2.8 - 3.4 and concentrated to a CHC content of 150 - 260 g / l. The concentrate is heated and boiling lower aliphatic alcohol is added. The inorganic salts precipitated are filtered off, and the mono potassium KGC salt crystallizes from the filtrate upon cooling.
