titleOfInvention Method of continuous growing of yeast
abstract The invention relates to the microbiological industry and is a method of continuously growing yeast in hydrocarbons. The purpose of the invention is to increase the biomass yield and the productivity of the process. Yeast of the genus CANDIDA is continuously grown under aeration conditions on a nutrient medium containing hydrocarbons, mineral salts and a surfactant. After the separation of the biomass, copper sulphate is periodically added to the clarified culture liquid returned to the growth process, providing a ratio of copper and surfactant ions in the range from 0.01 to 1.0. The frequency of the introduction of copper sulfate is determined by the formula T = 1 / (0.1-0.2) + C org , where T is the time period between additions of copper sulfate, hn n n C org is the concentration of organic acids in the clarified culture liquid, wt.%
