abstract The invention relates to a technique for testing pharmacological preparations and permits the recording of membrane potential and electrical parameters of a membrane: the resistance and capacity of a model membrane, which is a porous filter. Nitrocellulose filters of the type "Pumpor", Czechoslovakia, with a diameter of 20 µm, a thickness of 0.1 mm and a pore diameter of 2.5 µm, are inserted into the fixation cells of the fluoroplastic tape 14 with a width of 30 mm, which is wound onto one coil 12 and is passed between the sliding sections 1 and 1 2 of the cuvette and is attached to the free end of the other coil 13. During operation, the actuator 17 moves the belt 14 in a step-by-step manner, the filter 15 fixed to the belt is placed under the impregnation dosing unit 11 that inflicts lauric isobutyl ether, and then the filter 15 is placed between sections 1 1 and 1 2 kyu The webs that are closed fix the membrane filter. After washing the cuvette, the device automatically performs technological operations and 30-40 seconds after the injection of the test solution the measurement electrodes 2 are interrogated. If the test substance does not possess membranotropic activity, the membrane potential is approximately 50 mV, the electrical resistance is 5 mΩ, the electrical capacitance is 100 pF. If the test substance is membrane active, the value of the membrane potential drops to almost zero, the electrical resistance decreases 10-15 times, the electrical capacitance increases 9-12 times. After the measurement, the membrane filter is replaced by moving the belt one positioning step. When using a device for the examination of biological fluids, liquid media are introduced into the tubes of the cartridge, which is mounted in the external spill block, and then installed in the reaction mixture preparation block 5.
