abstract | This invention relates to a method for producing molded articles based on cellulose, for example films, tapes, powders from spherical particles, etc., which have a high capacity to absorb and retain water and aqueous liquids that can be used in chemistry, medicine, and the like. The invention allows to simplify the process by blending the viscose with a hydrophilic polymer selected from the group consisting of carboxymethylcellulose or its sodium salt, hydroxyethylcellulose, sodium alginate, sodium carboxymethyl starch, agar, tragant, cellulose, a pattern. Dextran, a mixture of sodium salt of carboxymethyl cellulose and sodium salt of carboxymethyl starch or methyl cellulose and sodium alginate with a mass ratio of 1: 1 mixture, in the amount of 10-80% of total mass of polymers.
