titleOfInvention Method of producing 2,5-diaminochlorobenzene
abstract The invention relates to substituted amines, in particular the preparation of 2,5-diamino chlorobenzene, an intermediate product for the synthesis of dyes and polyamides. The process of electrochemical reduction of 2-chloro-4-nitroaniline is carried out in the cathode space of the electrolyzer with cathode and anode spaces separated by a ceramic or ion-exchange diaphragm. Titanium is used as a cathode and electrolysis is carried out at a current density of 640-1025 A / m 3 and 20-100 ° C in an aqueous solution containing 9.4-12 wt.% HCL or H 2 SO 4 and 0.39-0.78 wt.% titanium salts [TICI 4 , TICI 3 , TI (SO 4 ) 2 , TI 2 (SO 4 ) 3 ]. The synthesis is carried out in a series of repeated cycles using the recovered catholyte in the subsequent cycle. These conditions simplify the process by eliminating the preparation and use of expensive catalysts, pressure apparatus. Moreover, after 15 cycles, there is no decrease in the quality and yield of the target product.
