titleOfInvention Method of producing alcohols c8 from byproducts in production of butanols
abstract This invention relates to organic synthesis, in particular to the preparation of C 8 alcohols from by-products of the production of butanols. The goal is to increase the yield of the target product. Obtaining the desired products are carried out by the method of oxosynthesis, containing acetals C 12 , by hydrogenation. The fraction 170-195 ° C, separated from the by-products by rectification at a pressure of 100-760 mm Hg at the top of the column (preferably 200-450 mm Hg), is subjected to hydrogenation. As a separating agent, a mixture of monoglycolic esters of butyric acids and water is used with a weight ratio in the feed of the acetal column C 12 - water equal to (0.7-5): 1 preferably (1-2.3): 1 and acetal C 12 : said esters equal to (0.1-4.0): 1 preferably (0.3-3.0): 1. The process is carried out with the subsequent separation of the target product by distillation. The method allows to obtain C 8 alcohols with a yield of 92-84% with a purity of up to 99.4%. 1 hp f-ly. 27 tab.
