titleOfInvention Method of producing modified chlorinated polyethylene
abstract The invention relates to methods for producing modified chlorinated polyethylene and can be used to obtain from it rubber products with reduced inflammability, resistant to oxidation, and thermostable. Simplifying the processing of the obtained product and increasing the thermal stability of polymer-based vulcanizates is achieved by processing the polymer at 50-60 ° C in an organochlorine solvent for 2-10 hours with a dehydrochlorinating agent in the method for producing modified chlorinated polyethylene. As a dehydrochlorinating agent, a 10–15% solution of alkali in alcohol waste from the methanol – ethanol fraction of alcohol production by the hydrolysis method is used with a ratio of alkali and polymer from 1: 1 to 1:10, respectively. 2 tab.
