titleOfInvention Method and apparatus for resistance butt welding of wire leads with resistor blanks
abstract The invention relates to welding and can be used in the electronic and instrument-making industry when welding leads to reinforced caps of carbon and metal film resistors. The purpose of the invention is to improve the quality of the welding of soft wire leads by reducing the spread of the magnitude of the lead out. The method of contact butt welding of wire leads with resistor blanks is characterized by winding the wire with its simultaneous straightening, gripping the end of the wire in the initial position, feeding it into the welding zone, cutting off the wire end section, welding it with the resistor blank fixed relative to the base, releasing the welded wire portion from the means capture and return means to capture the original position. Moreover, before returning the gripping means to the initial position, the wire is fixed relative to the base, winding and straightening are carried out when returning the gripping means, and after gripping the wire in the initial position, it is released relative to the base. A device for carrying out this method comprises a base 1, a wire trimming mechanism 3, a feed carriage 2 installed in straight guides on the base, a piece 8 mechanism mounted on carriage 2, a draft carriage 6 mounted on carriage 2 in straight guides and a spring-loaded compression spring 7, clamping jaws 9 and 10 placed on the carriage 6, and an actuator kinematically connected to the carriage 2, the segment mechanism 8 and the sponge 9. In addition, the device contains a deflection roller 5 mounted on the car ke 2 by straightening mechanism 3 and optional sponge mounted on the base 1 between the roller 5 and the mechanism 8 and the segments placed in the windows 11 present in the carriages 2 and 6. This sponge is kinematically linked with the drive. To perform two-sided welding, two synchronously operating devices are used, which are arranged symmetrically with respect to the disk 17 of the mechanism for feeding and transporting the resistor blanks 18. 2 sec. and 1 z. p. f-ly, 4 ill.
